Serras Barcelona

“My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Serras as part of an anniversary trip to Spain. Honestly I’m not sure how our stay could have been any better. This hotel is an 11/10. The location right outside the Gothic Quarter is close enough to walk just about anywhere and has a wonderful view of the marina from the rooftop. The rooms are spacious and quiet and have all the amenities one would expect from a luxury hotel. The staff at this property are simply amazing. From the time we arrived in our taxi to the time we checked out they made sure we had absolutely anything and everything we needed. The maid service was almost invisible, yet they always made sure our room was made up or turned down when we returned. The on-site restaurants and bars are wonderful as well. The rooftop provides a gorgeous view and a quiet place for some snacks and a bottle of wine as well as a great dinner, if you prefer. Breakfast in the morning has many great options and the service is top notch. Many thanks to the staff at Serras for making our trip so wonderful. We cannot wait to return!”

“Stayed in May 2026 and Serras is hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Booked with Chase travel & with point boosts this was absolutely worth it. It was very nice to come home to a clean and safe hotel after a day of exploration as a solo traveler. It’s in a great location near the Gothic quarter (10 min walk) and beach (20 min walk). Nearest metro stop is Jaume I (8 min walk) and bus stations are right in front of the hotel. Did not receive a room upgrade but the service is exceptional. There is so much attention to detail and they are willing to accommodate nearly every request. Breakfast had a lot of healthy options and the views from the rooftop are beautiful. The gym is tiny, opt for a run to the beach. This hotel definitely made my short trip to Barcelona a memorable experience.”

“Truly a 5-star experience! Our favorite stay of a 3-week Portugal, Spain, Italy trip. Every staff interaction was outstanding; from laundry to breakfast to concierge to bar; everyone was personable and friendly. A few examples are Alex during our very late night check-in who laid the foundation of hospitable and welcoming, then Sandra, the amazingly friendly breakfast manager who made sure we received fresh fruit plate and a perfect cortadito. Rooftop bar staff ensured we had lovely sunset tapas and cocktails. Staff at the front was exceptionally proactive to open doors, take luggage, provide water, or hail a cab. The buffet breakfast spread was not only aesthetically appealing, but absolutely delicious. Best daily breakfast at a hotel we’ve experienced. The room was spacious and inviting, with an incredibly comfortable bed. Common areas were luxuriously intimate but also inviting. We walked everywhere easily. Our entire 3 night stay was a DREAM! We were sad to leave.”
